RESERVATION POLICY: We are not able to guarantee specific seating on table reservations. We will do our best but seating will be done on a first come, first served basis. Reserved tables are held for only 10 minutes. During live music events dining Customers will get preference on table seating.

We are an historic inn, having served friends and families; travellers and locals, since opening in 1865, pre-dating Canada by two years. Since Opening day, the Dominion Hotel has been the centre of the community offering food, drink, accommodations and entertainment to all who enter. A recent total building overhaul modernised facilities. We are small - a cozy 6 suites - but do our best to make guests feel at home and comfortable. Book a Room.
** NOTE ** During the COVID-19 Pandemic we will not be entering guests room after check-in.
Our six suites are all different but all have a TV, fridge, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, hair dryer and heat and cooling controls. Internet is provided at no charge to hotel guests.
Our convenient location - right in the centre of town and on the beautiful Gull River, ample off-street parking, two restaurants and pub and cozy people spaces make us a logical stop for travellers wanting the "Minden Experience". We're looking after the details to make your stay elegant and comfortable.

We have a good selection of locally handcrafted beers and 'old faithfuls' with a dozen or more draught taps. We stock a good selection of bottle beer, coolers, juices and non alcoholic beverages. We have Coke product.
Our house beers, Dominion 1865 Lager, Red Truck Red Ale and D-Light are very popular.
Our wines are excellent and provide a taste of our region. World wines available as well. House wines available by the glass.
